If you\u2019ve ever experienced a headache that radiates from your jaw or temples, you might be dealing with a TMJ headache. TMJ<\/a> stands for temporomandibular joint, the hinge that connects your jaw to your skull. It allows you to talk, chew, and yawn comfortably. Where TMJ Headaches Occur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A TMJ headache often feels different from a typical tension or sinus headache. The pain usually starts near the jaw joint, just in front of your ears, and radiates to other areas of the head. You might feel discomfort around your temples, cheeks, neck, or even behind your eyes.
